Meditation teaches you discipline and control over your thoughts. You do have this power, it's just that many of you have let it lie dormant for too long, or that you've forgotten, or never knew how to harness it. Meditation teaches you that all thought can be deliberate, and controlled.
All thought is within your power. You allow thoughts to enter or not. You are in charge here. Remember that.
Many of you don't even realize that. Your mind is a tool for you to use, and no one else. It is yours. Like you can control your body, so too can you control your mind.
