Becoming aware of your current intentions gives you insight into why certain aspects of your life aren't working and why some things are turning out the way they are.
The process is like turning on the water to clear away the debris, it requires a steady stream of it; not just one day or one week. It must be consistent over an extended period because the new intentions must become a habit in the brain. It must become a new perspective, or else any setback or obstacle will cause you to stop.
One of the problems is that in the beginning period of awareness we tend to misunderstand important changes and assume those changes are signs that it is not working.
